Psycho+Logical-Records and Landmine Entertainment proudly present Riviera Regimes’ newest hip-hop masterpiece, REAL SOLDIERZ RIDE. Riviera Regime is the rap duo of Klee Magor & Benny Brahmz, two ex-infantry brigade front line soldiers that met during battle back in 1997 while both fighting in the legendary Golani Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces. They met up on a fort in South Lebanon and began rapping together with the sounds of mortar shells dropping around them. A year after their release from the service, Klee and Benny both moved to Toronto, Canada in order to pursue a career in music. can’t say too much about this album. I uploaded it but never ran through it again when I did that and it’s been some time since I listened to it. I do remember that I used to listen to this album when I was kind of in an aggravated mood. It helped get that anger out and helped me relax a bit. I know I definitely liked the album and felt it was some pretty signature Kool Keith type stuff. I also remember seeing this at the store and being surprised by it. It didn’t get a lot of pre-release hype that and so I had no expectation of seeing it at the store. Hopefully you enjoy the CD and feel free to leave some comments about the album as well.
